Kolter’s life began on July 10, 2008. He is the son of Neil (Courtney) Litke and Jenna (Derrick) Dakken. Kolter was known by many as “Bob;” a nickname he acquired after years of wearing his favorite orange button-up shirt, mimicking Bob the Builder.
Pamela Schmid, 82, Topeka, Kansas, (formerly of Council Grove), passed away Monday, July 31, 2023.
Roberta Jean Krase of Newton, KS died on August 2, 2023, at Presbyterian Manor surrounded by her family. Jean was born at home in rural Elmdale, Kansas on April 7, 1931, to Fred P & Della F (Pracht) Jacques.
Robert Joseph Poff, age 86, of Burlington, Kansas passed away July 26, 2023 at Life Care Center of Burlington. He was born June 25, 1937 in Council Grove.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 1 p.m. to remember Cynthia Engle, of Council Grove. Cynthia passed away on November 21, 2022. The celebration will be held at the Council Grove United Methodist Church. All members of the community are invited and welcome to attend.
