Jo Ann Scott
Jo Ann Scott was born March 29, 1932, in the family home between Wilsey and Delavan Kansas to Jess Milton and Agnes (Francis) Lentell. She attended a one room country school, Olive Branch. She attended Wilsey High School and graduated in 1949 as class Valedictorian. After high school, she attended Emporia State Teachers College (now Emporia State University). She taught grades 1-8 at Highland, a one room country school, located in rural White City, Kansas from 1950 to 1952.
