A special spirit left us the night of the Topeka Blizzard. Martha Ann Bloomquist (Marty) died of a failing heart on January 6, 2025.

Shareen Lea Johnson, 77, of Council Grove, Kansas entered peacefully into the loving arms of our heavenly Father on February 12, 2025. She was born on March 4, 1947, at the old Morris County Hospital in Council Grove, Kansas to Frankie Erwin Prather and Verta Lucille (Smith) Prather.

Ernest Milton “Pete” Petry, 86 of Council Grove (Formerly of Lawrence) died on Saturday, March 1, 2025, after surgery to repair a broken hip and a stroke that he suffered shortly thereafter.
