Richard E. Byrd, 88, of Council Grove (formerly Dwight), passed away on Wednesday, April 10,2024.

Gary Roger Dierking age 88, passed away on April 8, 2024 in Council Grove, Kansas. Gary was born on December 11, 1935 in Alta Vista, Kansas, the only child of Donald D. and Erma J. (Speer) Dierking. Gary spent his childhood in Alta Vista and began working in the Dierking Motor Company at an early age. He graduated from Alta Vista High School with the class of 1954.

James O. Selby was born on June 30, 1934, to W.O. and Stella Selby. He was one of five children who grew up in small towns across Kansas and Oklahoma. Jim passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Jim Selby, 89 of Council Grove, passed away early Saturday morning, April 6, 2024 at Morris County Assisted Living.

Gary Dierking, 88 of Council Grove, died this morning at Morris County Hospital. Services are pending with Sawyer Funeral Home.

Janice Elizabeth (Christiason) Masters, 76, of Council Grove, KS died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan, Kansas.

Ralph Dean Reveal, 87, lifetime resident of Alta Vista, passed away March 11, 2024, at Morris County Hospital. He was born in the home he resided in his entire life, to Clarence and Mildred (Day) Reveal.
