Sandra Orr, 56, White City, KS, passed away peacefully with her mother by her side on May 8, 2024. Sandra was born September 4, 1967, to Ivah Lee and Budd Orr in Florida. Sandra is survived by her mom, Ivah Lee and multiple cousins, also her best friends, Italian New Yorker’s, Patty D. and family, in addition to her dog, Abby.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-6:30, Thursday, May 16 at Sawyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00, Friday, May 17, at Parkerville Baptist Church, with burial following at White City Cemetery.

D Jesse Moore was born February 18, 1948 to Vernon Oscar and Pricilla Dorthula (Haun) Moore at their home and farm in rural Morris County, Kansas. D, 76, passed May 3, 2024 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

Terry Wayne Monihen, age 76 of Council Grove and formerly of Riley, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Morris County Hospital in Council Grove.

Vera Irene (Andres) Hooper, 99, passed away May 5, 2024 with her son and daughter by her side. She was born August 8, 1924 to Lawrence and Minnie (Syring) Andres on the family farm southeast of Alta Vista, Kansas.

Margery Adeana McClacherty at the age of 96 peacefully passed away on April 27, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, and a friend to many who knew her.

Russell Dewuain Sams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle & friend, passed away at the age of 62. He was born in Council Grove, Kansas on November 19, 1961 and passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024.
