Velora Goss died on June 24, 2024 at Holiday Resort Care Home, Emporia, KS. She was 95. She was born March 1, 1929, in White City, KS; daughter of William and Clara (Freeman) Pearson, the fifth of six children.

Violet M. Selby, St. Joseph Missouri, and formerly of Emporia Kansas, passed away at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri, at the age of 85, surrounded by her family.

Albert Ray Heaton, born August 19, 1926, in Veedersburg, Indiana, took his final flight to the heavens on May 16, 2024 in Olathe, Kansas at the age of 97. He passed away peacefully of natural causes.

Darrell Lynn Miller, 75, of Dwight, Kansas passed away June 3, 2024 in Manhattan, Kansas. He was born October 26, 1948 to Lowell Lee and Elaine Louise (Lindgren) Miller. He attended Swartz Country School until 3rd grade when he transferred to Dwight Grade School. He graduated from Dwight Rural High School in 1966.
