The Council Grove High School Braves varsity boys basketball team showed continued growth Tuesday night despite a 44–36 loss to the Lyndon Tigers in a physical, hardfought contest. However, a scoring drought during the third quarter allowed the Tigers to create separation, building a lead that proved difficult to overcome. Even so, the Braves responded with resilience, battling back late and keeping pressure on Lyndon until the final horn.
