The Territory Ballroom, located at 117-119 W. Main St., Council Grove, Kansas, will host the Gathering In The Grove Art Sale on November 9, from 5 to 9 p.m.
I had the privilege of visiting with Debi and Angie Schwerdtfeger recently as they revealed the details and excitement swirling around the reopening of the headlines Building and their new business venture called “Corks and Coffees,” which will offer a unique combination of coffee, wine, pastries, and gifts. The business, located at 208 W Main, Council Grove, has evolved significantly since its inception. The model that will open on Saturday, October 26, has its roots stemming from Debi and Angie’s former café and gift shop, June Cleavers, which specialized in coffee, soups, and gifts.
