Thursday Is Turkey Giveaway Deadline

Thursday, November 21, is the deadline for entry into the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. Entry forms have been run in the Council Grove Republican and are available at the Republican’s office, 208 W. Main Street, Council Grove and at Ray’s Apple Market, 115 E. Main, Council Grove. Multiple turkeys will be given away by drawing at the end of the day, November 21.

Thursday, November 21, is the First Congregational Church’s “Another Chicken & Noodle Dinner.” The church’s reputation for delicious food caused the supply for their last Chicken & Noodle Dinner to dwindle quickly so they are doubling the amount of food prepared this month.
