USD 417 Board of Ed meeting draws concerns over bullying

The USD 417 Board of Education held its rescheduled September meeting on Thursday, September 11, 2025. About a dozen district residents attended, many expressing concern during the public forum about bullying behaviors they said have gone unaddressed in the district. They cited a lack of staff awareness, insufficient training, inconsistent enforcement of policies, and a failure to provide meaningful consequences despite clear policies being in place.
