The USD 417 Board of Education met for its regularly scheduled meeting on January 13, 2025, at the District Office. Board President Terry Powell called the meeting to order.
On January 2, 2025, former Kansas Senator Nancy Kassebaum was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal, one of the nation’s highest civilian honors. Presented by President Joe Biden, the award recognizes individuals “who have performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens.”
