Home Health & Hospice of Dickinson County (HH&H), an affiliate of Memorial Health System in Abilene, is proud to recognize Debbie Wendt as the latest recipient of the Herington Hero Award.

The Morris County Commissioner meeting was called to order on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Commissioners Wayne Kohler, Jim Barber, and David Fox were present. Bill Kassebaum, County Counselor, and Chelsey Schmidt, County Clerk, were present.

The Morris County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) convened on Wednesday at the Morris County Courthouse for a wide-ranging discussion led by Emergency Management Director Brett Samuels, who also marked his one-year anniversary in the role. The meeting covered a variety of emergency preparedness initiatives, updates on regional coordination efforts, and local responses to emerging public health and safety concerns.
