Robert E. Muhlig Sr, 81, of Council Grove, Kansas, passed away on February 20, 2021 at his home. Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 22, 1939 to Joseph and Marie Muhlig. He lived in the Chicago area until joining the US Army in 1958, serving until 1964. He was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, where he met his wife, Judith Catlin. They celebrated their 60 wedding anniversary on June 3, 2020.
