Gary Stewart, 80, died peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Morris County Assisted Living.

Gary was born March 25, 1941, to John and Opal Stewart. He completed both high school and trade school in Missouri, before moving to Kansas to work in the oil fields. He then had several local jobs including Furman Mobile, Stewart 66 Filling Station in Dunlap, and Hunter Sales prior to his career and retirement with the Mo-Pac/Union Pacific Railroad(s).

Gary married Linda Thomas in 1965. During that marriage, three children were born.

Linda Kay Seadeek, 72, formerly of Council Grove, Kansas, passed away January 5, 2022, at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.

Bradley Harold Becker, 66, of Alta Vista, Kansas passed away unexpectedly, January 3, 2022, at his home, with his family by his side.

Elizabeth Anne Foos, 93, a resident of Spring River Christian Village, Joplin, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Mercy Hospital Joplin. She fell after enjoying time with family on Christmas and died of complications after surgery to repair her hip.

William “Jug” Richardson, Jr., age 94, died December 31, 2021, at the Ascension Via Christi Village in Manhattan.

Kay E. Blankley, 81, Council Grove, died Dec. 31, 2021, at his home.

Bradley H. Becker, 66, of Alta Vista, passed away Jan. 3rd at his residence.

Kathleen May Sprecker Alspaw was born on January 28, 1931 in Gypsum, Kansas to Anna Blanche Milleson Sprecker and Adolph George Sprecker. She died on December 25, 2021.

Robert Lawrence Lane, “ROBO”, 80, passed away at his residence at Glen Carr House in Derby on December 18, 2021. Robert was born on January 23, 1941 in rural Cowley County to Albert Lawrence “A.L.” and Marie {Hill} Lane. The family lived in Haverhill, Council Grove and Wilsey when Robert was young where he spent a lot of time working and hunting and fishing which were passions.
