Craig Whittemore

A Graveside Service for Craig Whittemore is planned for 2 p.m., Monday, December 13th, at Wilsey Cemetery. Masks are encouraged. Memorial contributions may be made to Morris County Hospital.

Craig William Whittemore, age 46, of Wilsey, Kansas, passed away December 1,2021 at the University of Kansas Health System in Topeka. He was born January 18, 1975, in Council Grove, to Dale and Wilma (Hensley) Whittemore.

Craig worked at Tiffany Cattle Company for the last 10 years. In his earlier years at the feedlot, during harvesting, he would pack silage and high moisture corn. He was a very skilled machine operator. Craig was a quiet man; he did his job well and was very much respected by his co-workers. He had the skills to do any task that was asked of him and took his job very seriously. He enjoyed horses and outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Melissa; children, Hunter Whittemore, of Wilsey, Dakota Miller, of Lost Springs, Taya Cassell, of Wilsey and Madison Miller, of Herington; grandson Jasper Miller; sisters, Deb Alexander, of Topeka and Amy Nielsen and Damon, of Dunlap; and nieces and nephews.
