Shirley Jean (Stone) Messer, 85, of Council Grove, Kansas, passed away on April 11, 2026.

Scott David Jenkins, 57 of Foley, AL passed away on November 27, 2025 in Foley, AL. He was bom on May 1,1968 to David & Linda (Darrenkamp) Jenkins in St. Joseph, Missouri. He spent most of his schoolage years in or near Council Grove, Kansas. Scott was married to Teresa Crawford Jenkins who preceded him in death on February 27, 2025.

Sandra Jean Rathke Graham, known lovingly as Sandy, passed away on April 23, 2026, at Chase County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. She was 85 years old. Born on December 1, 1940, in Emporia, Kansas, to Ernest Rathke and Hattie Vahsholtz Rathke, Sandra grew up with a generous spirit and a warmth that would define her entire life.

Charles Harold Grimmett was born March 12, 1938 to Olen Harley and Esther Emelia (Collyer) Grimmett in Maysville, Missouri. Charles was the oldest of ten children. The family moved multiple times by the time Charles was ten years old. In 1948 the family settled in a home on south 4th street in Council Grove, Kansas where Charles lived until leaving to attend college.

William “Bill” Dickson, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 17th at Manchester’s Wesley Hall at Aldersgate Village, 7220 SW Asbury Drive, Topeka KS 66614. Inurnment will be at Reading Cemetery immediately following the service.

Lilly Walker, 71, Council Grove, Kansas, passed away at The University Medical of Kansas Medical Center on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

William Miller Dickson passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas. He was born August 3, 1934, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of John A. and Melissa Miller Dickson. He grew up in the Miller community and graduated from Miller Rural High School. In 1956, he graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Animal Science. After graduation, William spent three years in the United States Air Force flying as a navigator on a KC 97 refueling aircraft, refueling B 47’s and B 52’s aircraft in the air.

Audrey Leah (Hager) Moran, 68, died on March 15, 2026, at her home in Rangely, Colorado. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 14, 1957, the 1st child of Dickey Dale Hager and Martha Elaine (Dains) Hager.

Betty L. Allen, of Sedgwick Plaza, Wichita, KS passed away peacefully in her sleep, March 29, 2026 at 85 years young under the care of hospice and assisted living compassionate care.
