Council Grove Elementary School Christmas concerts are Monday and Tuesday, December 12 and 13 at the high school auditorium. The pre-k-kindergarten concert theme is Christmas Joys and will begin at 6 p.m. The theme of the 1st-2nd graders’ concert is Christmas Animals and will begin at 6:45 p.m.
The USD 417 Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, December 12, at the District office, 17 Wood St., Council Grove.
College Bowl season is a wild and wacky time. Join the fun by playing the Council Grove Republican’s Bowl Bash that will be published on the next three Mondays. The bulk of our subscribers receive their newspaper by mail, so this message is especially time sensitive for them. Contestants’ entries need to be returned to us by 5 p.m., Friday of the same week the notice is printed. Note the quick turnaround required or deadline involved.
