Kansas Insurance Commissioner Vicki Schmidt, has announced that the Kansas Insurance Department will set up a mobile office on Friday, February 17 at the Territory Ballroom, 117-119 W Main St. Council Grove. Employees from the Department will be on hand to help members of the public with consumer complaints, fraud reports, licensing and registration inquiries, and answer any questions about insurance and securities.
ADVANCE TO STATE -- Thirteen Council Grove High School FCCLA members placed first in their project categories at District last week qualifying them for the State Competition in April.
The February Kaw Mission Council “Railroaded : The Industry that Shaped Kansas” will be held on February 19 at 2 p.m.. The event will be held at The Carnegie which is located at 303 West Main Street in Historic Council Grove.
MORRIS COUNTY HOSPITAL AUXILIARY TOP BLOOD DONORS Larry Evans (bottom picture) was honored Monday as the top blood donor for the Morris County Hospital Auxiliary Blood Drive. He is pictured between Guy Niederhauser of the Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City and Candy Boardman of the Morris County Hospital Auxiliary. Larry has donated 37 gallons of blood with 278 donations. Vance Hight and Merry Barker (pictured right) are the #2 and #11 donors, having given 11 gallons and 7 gallons respectively.
