Council Grove High School had three weight-class champions and seven state qualifiers on its way to the 321A Regional Tournament team championship at Marion on Saturday.
321A REGIONAL CHAMPIONS -- The Council Grove High School Braves wrestling team won the 321A Regional Tournament Saturday at Marion making history as the first team to win the title in school history
The Council Grove Braves first half of play at St. Mary’s was nearly a draw. Then the second half began and St. Mary’s pulled away with a substantial lead that continued for the duration of the contest. The final score was 73-49.
