Council Grove Junior / Senior High School hosted its spring student blood drive on March 11, attracting students and faculty that were eager to make a difference. The event, organized in collaboration with the Community Blood Center, Dana Reddick, USD #417 Health Services Director, and Mrs. Coover and the HOSA-Future Health Professionals, aimed to collect much-needed blood donations to support local hospitals and medical facilities.
A fundraiser for the White City Public Library is planned March 28 and 29 at the city building, 118 Mackenzie Street. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
USD 417 is offering free Early Childhood Screening next week at Council Grove Elementary School. This screening is required to attend PreK for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Morris County Commissioner meeting was called to order on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Commissioners Wayne Kohler, Jim Barber and David Fox were present. Chelsey Schmidt, County Clerk, and Bill Kassebaum, County Counselor, were present.
