The Morris County Commissioner meeting was called to order on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Commissioners Jim Barber, David Fox and Wayne Kohler were present. Bill Kassebaum, County Counselor, and Chelsey Schmidt, County Clerk, were present.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Smoky Hill Construction has started brick removal on Mackenzie Street (Highway 4) in White City. There will be no parking on Mackenzie Street between Grand and Main. Grand, Adolph and Main Streets will all be closed on the south side of Mackenzie Street. The north side of Mackenzie Street will remain open for east and west bound traffic. When the south side is completed, they will begin the north side. Total construction is anticipated to last 110 days.
