When Dale Jones retired this year, after 26 years as CEO of Tri-County Telephone (TCT), he closed a career that reshaped telecommunications across rural Kansas. From eliminating party lines to building a fiber-optic network, from navigating Washington bureaucracy to mentoring employees, his tenure left a lasting impact on communities across the region. At his side throughout the journey was his wife, Elaine, whose steady support anchored their family and made possible a demanding career in public view.
