Pioneer Bluffs has announced Becky Hinkson of Cottonwood Falls as its new Operations Director. Hinkson, who helps operate Hinkson Angus Ranch with her husband Trey and his parents, brings firsthand ranching experience to the Center for Flint Hills Ranching Heritage.

The Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program has announced that Jenna Brown, White City, Senior Director of Development with the Carl Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University, is a member of the training experience.

The community of Burdick will celebrate Labor Day with a two-day slate of events beginning Sunday, August 31, and continuing through Monday, September 1. Sponsored by the Burdick Council of Clubs, the annual tradition will feature family activities, food, music, and contests honoring small-town spirit.
