The former site of Garfield School, District 6, is south of the intersection of H Avenue and 700 Rd, near Alta Vista. As Jean Pearson, resident of Tonganoxie and former student at Garfield School, explained to me, the site is “in mile two, east of where Pleasant Ridge Church was”.
