Craig McNeal, long-time editor of the Council Grove Republican, was inducted Friday night into the Kansas Newspaper Hall of Fame, during the Kansas Press Association convention in Topeka.  He was a second generation owner/publisher of the Republican, selling the newspaper on July 1, 2017, and retiring. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kansas State University in 1961,
