The Council Grove City Council will consider appropriations totaling $402,751.21 during its regular meeting tonight.
The appropriations were not available for inclusion in Monday’s advance meeting article because the city is transitioning to a different financial software program, which delayed preparation of the expense report.
The appropriations include $62,490.81 for the General Fund; $4,754.16 for the Convention and Visitors Bureau Fund; $79,919.64 for employee benefits; $3,500 for the Special Highway Fund; $2,437.75 for the Highway Maintenance- KLINK Fund; $4,138.62 for the Special Parks and Recreation Fund; and $52,066.47 for the 1% Sales Tax Fund.
Additional appropriations include $4,219 for the Equipment Reserve Fund; $600 for the Computer Fund; $156,773.55 for the Fire Grants Fund; $10,271.57 for the Capital Projects Fund; $16,764.46 for the Water Works Operating Fund; and $4,815.18 for the Sewer Fund.
Within the General Fund, expenses include $14,580.12 for administration, $1,562.85 for the police department, $13,520.65 for the fire department, $3,562.92 for the City Lake, $5,703.51 for city parks, $9,752.30 for swimming pool, $6,652.86 for recreation, $730.16 for cemetery and $6,425.44 for the street department.
