Puckett Farms earned Premier Breeder of Alpine goats at the 2026 Kansas State Fair.
Puckett’s Royal Velvet, a 5-yearold Alpine doe, earned Best of Breed and Best Udder of Breed honors. Puckett’s Cheyenne was first place and first udder in her 2-year-old class.
Pucketts exhibited a total of six animals. Two 4-H families exhibiting animals with the Puckett herd name contributed to Puckett’s earning the Premiere Breeder award. Seventy-nine total Alpine does were entered in the show.
