To Celebrate The “Bounty Of The County” At The Morris County Fair

This year’s Morris County Fair kicks off on July 20 and will feature nine days of events and activities, including livestock judging, food exhibits, art exhibits, auctions, Barnyard Olympics and much more. The Morris County Fair will run from July 20 to July 29 at the Morris County Fairgrounds, located east of Council Grove on Highway 56. This year’s theme celebrates the homegrown and handmade items that Morris County has to offer, with the theme of “Bounty of the County.”

The first Saturday of the Morris County Fair begins at 9 a.m. with the Dog Show. The snack shack will also be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on that day.

Events pick back up on July 23 at 1 p.m. with Clothing Construction and Fashion Revue Judging, followed by the FCS Judging Contest from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m and Fashion Revue and Talent Showcase at 7 p.m. at Council Grove High School. Dining With Your Project will also be held at 1 p.m.
