Awarded Legion Of Merit By U.S. Army
Master Sergeant James Fuqua has been awarded the Legion of Merit by the United States Army. Fuqua is a twenty-five year veteran of the Army and is currently serving as Inspector General in California.
He has served in multiple posts in several countries during his career. Fuqua was awarded a Bronze Star for valor in lifesaving actions during his time in Iraq.
Fuqua graduated from Council Grove High School in 1993 and joined the Army immediately after graduation. He will retire in March 2018 and join his wife Robyn (Bacon) at their home in Tomah, Wisconsin, where she works as a civilian employee at Fort McCoy.
