An entourage of Council Grove residents and business leaders joined Casey’s team in a ribbon cutting at noon on Thursday, August 27. Welcoming remarks were given by Council Grove City Administrator Nick Jones, Greater Morris County Development Corporation Director Chuck Scott and Casey’s District Manag- er Scott Johnson. Store manager Kerrie Volpert said that the store’s computer servers were down for most of the morning but the company handled the problem by giving away free food in the meantime.
