Carolyn’s life began on August 12, 1949 at Newman Hospital in Emporia. She is the daughter of Kelcie and Evelyn (Cowles) Harder. Carolyn attended college at Emporia State University where she received her MRS degree when she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dwight Reust, on August 3, 1968 at the Emporia Church of the Nazarene.

Ramona “Jean” Nelson, 88, of Marquette, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023, surrounded by family at Harmony Home, McPherson. She was a homemaker, Avon representative, school bus driver for USD 400, and CNA at Riverview Estates.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Marie Marilyn Wheat 86, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2023 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Council Grove, KS.
