Cynthia Engle of Council Grove died peacefully at her home on November 21, 2022 following a brief bout with cancer.

Robert Gieswein, 90, rural Wilsey, passed away at home with family around him on November 18, 2022.

Evelyn Y. Richardson, age 91, died November 23, 2022, at Ascension Via Christi Village in Manhattan.

Mary Ann Peterman was born near Leroy, KS on August 4, 1928 to parents William C. and Mary (True) Kruger. As the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death chronologically first by brother Paul, both parents, brothers Wilmer, Clarence, Walter and her sister Clara Hiatt. She attended grade school in a one room school house at Avondale and few years of parochial school at Aliceville. She enjoyed telling her children about walking 4 ½ miles a day with her brothers Walt and Paul to school in Aliceville.

Mary Peterman, 94, Council Grove, died this morning at the Morris County Hospital.

Tom Poston, 79, of Council Grove passed away November 9, 2022, at Brookdale of Shawnee.

David Dean Moeller, Age 73 passed away peacefully at Morris County Hospital on October 31, 2022.

Laurel Gale Zimmerman, of Alta Vista, Kansas passed away on October 14, 2022. at the age of 78.
