Virgil M. Swisher, 90 of Council Grove, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Council Grove Assisted Living. He was born in Gypsum, KS to Joseph and Sylvia (Stewart) Swisher on January 26, 1928. Virgil served his country by way  of the US Navy from 1944-1945 during WWII.
