Kenneth Eugene Falk

Kenneth Eugene Falk, 71, of Emporia, Kansas, passed away on Monday July 4th, 2022 due to esophageal cancer, at Harry Hynes hospice in Wichita, Kansas.

Kenny was born on September 12th, 1950 in Abilene, Kansas to August and Irma (Albrecht) Falk. He spent his working career as a certified nurse’s aide and certified med aide in numerous nursing homes in Kansas and Missouri.

He was married to Dora Owen on June 30th, 1978 and together they had 3 children: Christina, Pamela, and Justin.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, August and Irma Falk, his wife, Dora Falk, and daughter, Pamela Falk.

He is survived by his daughter Christina Falk of Emporia, Kansas and son Justin Falk of Olathe, Kansas; two sisters, Shirley Stiver of Council Grove and Anna Winger of Belgrade, Minnesota, and a brother, Harold Falk of Herington. Kenny is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Kenneth’s body was donated to science through MedCure and a joint memorial service for Kenneth and Dora will be held at the Council Grove Christian Church once his cremated remains are returned to his family.

Kenneth’s final wishes were to have his ashes spread at the lake in Herington, Kansas while Dora’s cremated remains will be buried in their daughter Pamela’s plot at the Parkerville Cemetery. We ask that any and all memorials be made to Harry Hynes hospice in Wichita, Kansas.
