Jessicah Elaine Morris

Jessicah Elaine Morris went to be home with her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 28th, 2023. She was born on February 4, 1947, in Clay Center, KS.

Jessicah lived to serve God and others. She had experienced wholeheartedness, and contentment through her relationship with Jesus Christ and this was evident to anyone who knew her. Her number one desire was for others, especially her family, to experience the same thing. She spent her life trying to communicate that as best she could to those around her. Jessicah spent much of her time in prayer and writing letters of encouragement to distribute among family and friends in her community. Jessicah was a very talented artist, musician, and family historian. She loved feeding the birds and other wildlife and had a God-given sense of wonder toward all of God’s creation.

Jessicah is lovingly remembered by Lori Oppenlander Murphey, Jeff Orebaugh and spouse Choiseul, Suzie Swenson and spouse Matt, and Joey Orebaugh and spouse Hazel; grandchildren Micah, Caleb, Jadon, Levi, Justus, Joshua, Hosannah, Jeremiah, Judah, Hallielujah Orebaugh, Hannah and Braidyn Orebaugh, and Liv and Kai Swenson; great grandchildren Arielle, Elijah, Addelyn, and Zekiah Orebaugh and Arianna and Emma Orebaugh, Esme Orebaugh... and counting; and brothers Steve Woodard and spouse Joyce, Mike Woodard and spouse Carol, and Jerry Lee Woodard.

Services will be held at Torn Veil Church at 219 N 7th St, Wilsey Kansas. Viewing will take place from 9:30-10:30. The service will begin at 10:30, with graveside service immediately following. You are welcome to accompany the family to a fellowship dinner at the Torn Veil Fellowship Hall (different location) at 107 North Street, Wilsey, Kansas. The family encourages bright colored clothing to be worn in memory of her joy and love for color!
