Jerry Lee Cade

Jerry Lee Cade, 81, of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

He was born March 21, 1941 in Quenemo, Kansas to Paul and Mabel (Ashley) Cade. Jerry spent his childhood in Council Grove and graduated from Council Grove High School in 1959. After graduation he served in the Navy for four years. He was a master electrician and owner of Cade Electric, Inc. in Wichita. He retired from USD 259 in 2006 as Electrical Project Supervisor.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Karen; sons Brian (Denise) Cade of Wichita, Kevin (Roseann) Cade of Valley Center; granddaughters Jennifer (Joey) Downey, Brittany (Roscoe) Brixey, Madeline Cade; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jim, Max, Larry; and sisters Patricia Smith and Billie Hurtig.

The family will be welcoming visitors to share memories of Jerry at an informal gathering on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 2 to 5 pm at First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park Ave. Valley Center, Kansas 67147.
