Kurtis Talon Glessner

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kurtis Talon Glessner, 39, of Alta Vista. Kurtis was born on December 24, 1985, to Grant L. Glessner and Regina Tyler. He grew up heavily involved in sports and 4-H, where his love for ranching and farming grew. Kurtis followed in his father's footsteps and made his liv - ing on the family farm. He married his soulmate, Kimberly Settgast, on June 25, 2011. Kurtis was a loving and devoted husband and father of five.

He is survived by his wife, Kim - berly Glessner (Trinity, Cadie, Mary, Walter, and Waldo) of Alta Vista; fa - ther, Grant L. Glessner of Alta Vista; mother, Regina Clevenger and Greg of Grand Prairie, TX; brother, Bran - don Glessner and Melissa Bacon (Avia Glessner) of Council Grove; sister, Cassie and Pat Worrall (Tim - my and Danny) of Norton, MA. Also surviving are mother-in-law, Ange - la Brott of Alta Vista; sister-in-law, Leslie Settgast and Jordan Fetters (Chandler, Mia, Mason, and Col - son) of Dwight; brother-in-law, John Brott and Abbi Heitzman (Winston and Qwynzleigh) of Alta Vista and a host of friends.

A visitation will be held from 5-7, Thursday, May 29, at Simpson Unit- ed Methodist Church. Funeral ser - vices will be held on Friday, May 30 also at the church. Burial will follow at Welcome Cemetery.
