On June 14, Andrea Timm reported that an unknown person had backed into the light pole at Kelso Church. The type of vehicle and the date of the accident was not able to be determined.
Katelyn Anne Petry, Council Grove, has earned Dean’s List honors at the University of Nebraska for the spring 2022 semester. Petry is a senior majoring in elementary education.
The Morris County Hospital Auxiliary will host a reception at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 27, in the Eberle Room for scholarship recipients and any attending family members prior to the regular monthly auxiliary meeting following the reception.
Minhi England, wife of the late Jesse England and daughter-in-law of Ken and Deb En gland, will appear on the upcoming season of “Blown Away” on Netflix. Minhi, a glass artist, will be one of the competing artists on the show, which premieres July 22. “Should be exciting and we still won’t know who wins till the end!” said Ken and Deb.
