CRUSH HOUR

CRUSH HOUR

CRUSH HOUR -- Machines grind up concrete on Wednesday morning at the old Penny’s Concrete plant in Council Grove. Penny’s Concrete has given the city the pile of old concrete located at their new plant to the city and it is now being crush into small rock to be used for the city’s alleys and roads, which will substantially decrease the cost of buying and hauling gravel for the city. The city, who now owns the location, has also begun cleanup of the concrete plant area.
