Ian Randman of New Jersey stopped at the Republican office Thursday to chat with reporters on his bicycle trek from Key West, Florida, north to Alaska. Randman is undertaking the trip to raise money for the nonprofit Tackle Kids Cancer.
Flint Hills Rebuilders Seeking Clients And Volunteers

Carl Smitheran of Flint Hills Rebuilders provided the program for the Council Grove Rotary this week. The Flint Hills Rebuilders is a group of volunteers whose goal is to provide home improvement/home repairs for low income/disabled homeowners in the area. The group has completed simple repairs and extensive ones, such as foundation repair that was valued at over $12,000.
