Council Discusses City Lake, Hears Chip Seal Update

City Administrator Nick Jones provided the Council Grove City Council with an update on current activity regarding annexation on Tuesday. Jones said he had a call in to the Council Grove City Lake Association’s attorney, Kyle Steadman, but had not heard back as of meeting time. He added that he understood that the association had concerns regarding the proposal documents recently released by the city and were looking for clarification on several items. Jones also noted that he wanted to give lake residents some time to consider the options presented to them before meeting with the lake board.
