Asphalt Work To Begin On K-177 Today

Beginning today, K-177 Highway from Munkres Creek Wildlife area to the K-4 east (Alta Vista) intersections will be shut down to all traffic, except those that live or own land adjacent (along) to the Highway 177 right-of-way. The final asphalt construction will be starting with additional equipment and truck traffic throughout the length of the project. The existing ramps on and off the remaining asphalt section will be subject to change and elimination, on a daily basis and without warning. These construction sequences and activities will make for extremely dangerous situations for workers on the project as well as the traveling public.
