The Council Grove Cross Country team started their season on a good note at the Mission Valley Invitational Thursday. Jadyn Picolet won the junior high boys race with a 13:01 two-mile, Brody Nelson finished 4th, and Carter Bremer finished 7th overall which netted him a 3rd place medal for 7th grade.

The results from the 4-H Sheep and Meat Goat Shows at the Morris County Fair on July 31 have been tallied.
TCT’s Channel 2 has been covering Braves varsity football and basketball for many years. TCT gained the cable station in 2008. Bill Stallard was doing live audio playby- play coverage for the games for several years. TCTTV continued live audio game coverage but coordinated with Mr. Hula at Council Grove High School to film and replay games on Channel 2 during the week.
