The Council Grove City Council will convene for a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 7, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 205 N. Union St., in Council Grove. The meeting is open to the public.
The Kansas Masonic Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to benefiting Kansas communities, has partnered with its 170 statewide Masonic lodges and Kansas Masons to award 202 scholarships to students across the state, totaling over $200,000.
The Council Grove High School Braves picked up a sweep of the Marion Warriors on Tuesday, March 31, at Ben I Smith, winning 8-2 and 18-5 in a pair of run-filled games.
