OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Forecasters warned of dangerous, life-threatening wildfire conditions in parts of the Southwest and Southern Plains on Tuesday as firefighters in rural Oklahoma battled blazes
Several bands will be performing at SethFest Saturday at Council Grove Federal Reservoir, Santa Fe Trail Cove, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event is sponsored by Community Arts Council
On a sunny day with little wind, the Council Grove Braves hosted their home invitational at the Council Grove Country Club on Monday.
The Council Grove/Morris County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism will host the first ever Fire ‘N’ Up the Flint Hills, KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition April 22.
The Council Grove Junior High Track team competed at Santa Fe Trail on April 12. The 7th grade girls tied for first place with West Franklin, while the 7th grade boys placed third.
