The rematriation celebration for Iⁿ ‘zhúje ‘waxóbe, the Kaw Nation’s Sacred Red Rock, was held Saturday afternoon at Allegawaho Memorial Heritage Park, a few miles south of Council Grove off the Dunlap Road. Despite sweltering heat in the 90s, nearly 400 people were in attendance.The event was a class act.
