The Santa Fe Trail crossed Rock Creek about six miles east of Council Grove, Kansas, and about one-fourth mile north of U.S. Highway 56.   Plans are being developed to provide public access to this significant remnant of the Trail. A groundbreaking ceremony for the site will be conducted at 4:00 p.m.
