Collect 66 Units At Blood Drive
The Morris County Hospital Auxiliary hosted the Community Blood Center Blood Drive on Monday, collecting 66 units of blood from 64 donors. Four donors participated in an “automated red blood cell exchange (2RBC),” in which healthy red blood cells are removed from a donor to replace unhealthy red blood cells in a blood recipient. This procedure is counted as two units of donation.
