He shared about the operations of the organization and how it returns blessings to the community in the form of donations to churches and scholarships for students. Thrift store volunteers are valued and always needed.

American Discovery 250 relay to go through Council Grove

American Discovery 250 relay to go through Council Grove

Council Grove will be a host community on the route of the American Discovery 250 Relay, a 6,800-mile, human-powered relay traveling across the United States in 2026. Relay participants are expected to pass through Council Grove in mid-September as part of the south-central section of the route, which includes Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and southeastern Colorado.
