The Council Grove Lady Braves closed out play in the Flint Hills League Tournament on Friday at White Auditorium in Emporia, falling to Cair Paravel High School, 41–28.
The Kansas Legislature has approved Senate Concurrent Resolution 1604 (SCR 1604), a measure making formal application to the United States Congress to call a Convention of the States for the purpose of proposing amendments to limit the power and scope of the federal government.
Council Grove scored 188.5 points Saturday at the Council Grove Invitational Wrestling Tournament to top thirteen other teams for the team title. The Braves had three bracket champs.
TCT awarded the MCHS a matching grant for $5,000 for its Santa Fe Rendezvous Point Project, located near the Post Office Oak historic site in Council Grove.
The Council Grove Braves went toe-to-toe with the Osage City Indians in Flint Hills League Tournament play, but came up short in a 58–49 loss to the No. 3 seed Thursday night.
